With the help of special guests Jamie and Meghan from Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, kindergarten students at Dogwood Elementary received some great safety tips.
The childrend learned how to stay safe while riding a bicycle by always wearing a helmet. Studens dropped eggs: one with a "helmet" and one without. Guess which one cracked? :)
The students then proceeded to their stations where they acted like doctors, diagnosed and provided cures for their teddy bears!
