Congratulations to Accompsett Middle School's Brodie Frayler (8th Grade, Mr. Hacker’s Band) and Joey Mucha (7th Grade, Mr. Arsenicos’ Band) who will be attending the annual SCMEA Day of Tuba and Euphonium Festival this Friday! Students who choose to attend put in extra effort to learn challenging repertoire and will have the opportunity to work with special guest artists and conductors, as well as perform with an ensemble of 200+ tuba and euphonium students of all levels from all over Suffolk County.
Mr. Hacker shares, “Brodie participated in last year’s Day of Tuba, is a consistent participant in the NYSSMA festival, and participates in the AMS Brass Ensemble. Joey has been a great contributor to the Brass Ensemble for the past two years as well. They are both wonderful musicians.”
"A huge shoutout to Brody and Joey for taking the initiative to excel as musicians, and congrats to their amazing teachers for their continued hard work and dedication to music," Principal McNeil exclaimed. "We’re so proud of you!"
