Congratulations to High School West 10th grade student, Sameha Vundecode, on receiving a SAAWA (South Asian American Women's Alliance ) STEM grant. This grant was awarded to Sameha for her work in the field of engineering.
The South Asian American Women's Alliance seeks to encourage, promote leadership and innovation among students in STEM fields to help build tomorrow's workforce among the community.
“Engineering has always been a passion of hers, and finding out about the SAAWA grant was truly exciting,” said teacher, Mrs. Plante. “Sameha sees this as a great opportunity for her to combine her interest in engineering with her goal of making a positive impact in our community.”
"I am very thankful for Mrs. Plante and Mr. Snyder for their guidance in helping me reach this achievement!" Sameha told us.
